Days Until = Target Date − Today's Date. In JavaScript: Math.ceil((target - today) / 86400000). This gives the exact number of calendar days.
If today is May 21 and the event is May 25, it's 4 days away (not counting today) or 5 days away (counting today). This calculator counts calendar days not including today.
To convert days to weeks, divide by 7. To get approximate months, divide by 30.44 (average days per month). For exact months, count calendar months between the two dates.
